It's Fall Y'all

Fall Favorites

The first official day of fall may not be until September 22nd, but the annual release of Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte has kick started the season a little early.  Also, if this is the first time you're hearing about it, you must be living under a rock because it took social media by storm earlier this month.  A four day live stream video kept everyone anxiously excited and eagerly awaiting its arrival.

However, Starbucks aside, fall is a time for football, bonfires, indulging on pumpkin flavored everything, sweaters/sweatshirts, and eating plenty of food to prepare for your winter hibernation.  With the weather starting to cool down, the time for all things comfy and cozy is upon us.  Comfort foods warm the soul and are easily justified as "part of the diet this week (and every week)".  It's a season filled with good times, good weather, good treats and even better photo opps to add to your artsy Instagram account or Twitter feed.  Speaking of good treats, you won't want to miss out on eating some pumpkin chocolate chip bread this season.  If you've had it before, then treat this post as a friendly reminder to make it ASAP and if you haven't, your life is about to be changed.  Print out the recipe below and head to the grocery store!  You're guaranteed to be a crowd favorite at the next get together and who knows, you may even receive a shout out on SnapChat for your #bombbakingskills.
